But now Essex girl Jessie J is determined to make it Stateside, and continued her mission with an appearance on The Today Show. And the 23-year-old was clearly dressed to impress, clad in a black and grey top and a tiny pair of grey leather hotpants by Georgia Hardinge which showed off her endlessly long legs. Excited: Jessie looked crazed at one point She said: 'I am a very emotional, honest singer-songwriter from London. 'I just want to change the world with my music.' When asked why she waited so long for her turn in the limelight she said: 'I don't think you can rush art.' As well as her interview on the programme, Jessie, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, performed her current single Price Tag for viewers. It didn't stop there for the singer, however, as her ambush on America continues this week with several interviews in Los Angeles. But things didn't go very smoothly for Jessie, who tweeted fans that her flight to LA had been delayed. She wrote: 'I dont mind being delayed but i just wanna sleep. And i cant :( you know when your fighting that grouchy kid mood. Lol.' Jessie later added: 'I just took my bra off on the sly!! Lmao!! That was hysterical!! 'In the airport!!
